The Maclaren's quick and easy folding is another great feature. It's a little slower than the average in this category but it requires only one hand to open and close. When closed, it's a small pram that fits into tight spaces.
This model is not suitable for infants. However it is suitable for children aged 3 months and over. You can buy one of Maclaren's lighter umbrella strollers if you need a pram for your child at this stage. It's a great choice for older babies and children, as they will be content to sleep on the seat, either at home or on the road.
This two-in-one stroller offers the best combination of style and function. Its sleek design is chic, and the high-quality materials will withstand everyday use. 4. Thule Shine
The Shine stroller comes from a company known for its cool, practical products. It's one of the lightest prams on the market, and feels solid and robust in your hands despite its simple design. It's also extremely versatile with the capability to be used from birth due to the accessories that come with it that transform it into a bassinet Newborn Inlay, or Newborn Nest as well as a Maxi Cosi car seat adapter (accessories are sold separately).
Contrary to other lightweight strollers, the Shine will not let you down in terms of storage for cargo either. The 22-pound capacity of the Shine lets you to take everything you need for a day trip without worrying about putting anything in the wrong place.
It's also easy to assemble, with the back wheels being attached to the main frame straight out of the box. The bassinet is also easy to attach and has handles similar to those on a Moses basket. When you're done with it the pram folds down to an elegant and compact size, allowing you to put it in the smallest car.
Thule's canopy air purifier is also a highlight. It comes with an air filter that removes dust, bacteria, viruses pollen, and other unpleasant things. Thule claims it can remove 150 litres per minute of air and can be connected to an app that shows the local air quality.
The only issue is the price - although it's less expensive than other 2 in 1 pram s it still costs over PS1,000 for the complete kit. It's more difficult to swallow when there are cheaper alternatives, like the Thule spring, which is more compact and lighter.
Thule's strollers are known for their durability and I've seen them put through the test of the wringer at the Thule Hillerstop HQ in Sweden. They drop prams from high places and then crash them down slopes, and then run them over a bumpy buggy track in the snow to test their performance and durability. They certainly look good!
